Patient Terms
Last updated: 6 November 2026
About these terms
These terms apply when you book, change or cancel an appointment through a practitioner's booking page on Praxbook. They are between you and 12014637 CANADA INC., which runs Praxbook ("we", "us"). You agree to them by ticking the box when you book.
Your appointment is with your practitioner
Praxbook is the booking system your practitioner uses. Your practitioner runs their own practice: the care they give, their advice, their prices and any cancellation policy of their own are between you and them, not us. We don't provide any treatment, and we don't take payment for appointments.
Contact your practitioner about your appointment. Get in touch with them directly. We don't answer questions about appointments on their behalf, and our text number does not receive messages.
Booking
Please give your own, accurate details, and book only for yourself or for someone who has asked you to. Your booking is made when you see the confirmation page. If your practitioner sends emails through Praxbook, we also email you a confirmation. Your answers to your practitioner's consent form go to your practitioner, so they can prepare for your appointment.
Changing or cancelling
You can reschedule or cancel online, from your account, up to 24 hours before your appointment. After that, please contact your practitioner. Your practitioner may also need to move or cancel an appointment. If they send emails through Praxbook, we email you when they do; otherwise they will contact you themselves.
Your data
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you book, why, who sees it and how long we keep it.
What we are responsible for
We run the booking system with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for your practitioner's care or advice, or for anything they decide about your appointment.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and the date at the top of this page says when they last changed. A change never applies to an appointment you have already booked in a way that is worse for you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live somewhere else, you keep any protection the law where you live gives you, including bringing a claim in your local courts.
